School support at your home
1. For which subjects do you organize school support?
Even adults and graduates are using us for example to perfect their conversation skills in a foreign language, etc.
This goes from French to math to history, electricity, study methodology and even… basketball!
Educadomo also organizes private lessons for extra-curricular activities such as music and computer knowledge: the learning of an instrument and several multimedia applications such as internet, blogging and programming.
How can I start a school support course?
1. How can I start a course for my child?
We will of course also review with you the procedure to start the support course as soon as possible.

2. Which are the steps to get a new support course started?
They will then propose a tailor-made solution to your specific situation.
Upon your agreement, a contract is set up and signed.
Your pedagogical expert will then select the most qualified and competent coach for your child.
A first meeting is organized at your home for the coach to come for his first study session.
Your pedagogical expert will follow up your specific school support course for the entire duration of the course.
3. How long before I get a coach?
It takes about 10 days at the most to find you a coach but very often we can provide you with a coach just a few days later and sometimes even the next day.
The course will in any case start at your home as soon as possible, depending on your needs and diary availabilities.
4. Where are the school tutoring sessions given?
Your child enjoys therefore a personal accompaniment in his/her familiar surroundings, which is optimal for concentration and organization.
5. How do I pay the coach?
Each voucher is valid for one session of 1h, 1,5 hrs or 2hrs depending on the type of tutoring you ordered.
The payment with vouchers is only valid if you sign them.
6. How do we organize the follow up of your course?
At regular intervals in time this will be discussed with you.
If necessary the pedagogical expert will offer the possibility to adapt the support program to make sure everything goes according to your full satisfaction.
7. Does the coach give regular feedback to the parents?
This communication is in fact an integral part of our company values. It allows strengthening the quality and serenity of the parents and children.
8. What if the tutoring between the coach and my child doesn’t go as expected?
Your pedagogical expert will then evaluate the situation with you and offer an alternative solution (and if necessary another coach).
Experience shows that a new conversation between the coach, the family and the pedagogical expert is usually sufficient to correct things.
Tarifs & conditions
1. How much does it cost?
- The yearly subscription (valid for 36 months) amounts to 75€ and is valid for all your children.
- The tutoring sessions cost 27€ per hour. For larger purchases we apply a sliding scale discounted rate.
- The transportation costs of the coach (this is a set cost, based on the official tariffs of public transport).
2. For how long is the subscription valid and what is its purpose?
Your subscription allows you to request school support for all the children of your family, to work together with our coaches and to purchase study vouchers. At the same time it gives you the important benefit of our all-round follow-up and this for the entire three years.
3. Is the subscription payable per each child?
This subscription is also valid for the tutoring in extracurricular activities such as music and multimedia.
4. How long are the cheques/vouchers valid and for which courses?
The study cheques/vouchers are not only valid as method of payment for your current course. You can also use them to pay any other course and for any other child of your family.
5. Can I only buy one or two cheques/vouchers?
This allows choosing for a longer term approach allowing your child to benefit from a thorough school support course.
6. What should I do if I don’t have any vouchers left?
7. Is the transportation cost of the coach included in the hourly rate?
This is a set cost based on the official tariffs of public transport. We will be happy to send you this tariff list upon request.
Coaches
1. Which qualifications do the coaches have?
Furthermore, they are selected for their motivation, enthusiasm and ability to pass on their knowledge to children. They are of course also screened on their pedagogical and human talents and on their skills in time management and study planning.
All the study coaches receive additional training form Educadomo and are very regularly followed up by our pedagogical experts.
You can be assured that every child will receive a study coach that is completely in synch with its needs.
2. How do we select our study coaches?
After sending us their resume we check if this is in line with our basic requirements. If the case, we invite them for an interview with our pedagogical experts where they also have to make some tests.
We do not only measure their scientific knowledge but also their pedagogical and human skills.
Our thorough recruiting process allows us to offer the best coach possible for each of the school support courses, tailor-made for each child.
3. Do the coaches get training in the accompaniment of children?
The study coaches are taught to follow a set of rules and recommendations for all the courses they are to give. Moreover, they are constantly monitored and evaluated by our experts.
4. If a family is happy with a certain coach, can they ask for the same coach for another or a following course?
5. Are the coaches available in their exam period and during the holidays?
Even if you are temporarily residing in another location in Belgium (for holidays for example) you do not need to interrupt the course. So if you are planning to go to the Ardennes or stay at the coast for a while, let us know and we will accommodate you.
